The Narrative Frame and Narrative Walk projects are the result of custom, in-house GAN models trained on three types of visual “narratives”: websites, newspapers, and illuminated manuscripts. Iterations of this work include prints, wallpapers, & videos.
This version is a site-specific piece created for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago and exhibited in 2019-2020. The wallpaper element consists of a dataset of website screen captures representing the most visited sites on the internet. These are arranged by luminosity, while the video shows a GAN model “walking” through the latent space of this same image dataset.
